The Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde, on Thursday, has swore in 29 years old Miss Wasilat Adegoke, the youngest member of his cabinet, to man the ministry of youths and sports.
The event was held at the Executive Chamber of the governor’s office , Oyo State secretariat , Ibadan.
He also admistered oath of office on Oluwaserimi Ajetumobi as the commissioner for health in the state.
However, the governor had earlier sworn in 16 commissioners bringing the total number to 18 as parts of the State Executive Council members.
Speaking shortly after the swearing in, Makinde said he would always forgive the new commissioner for youths and sports, among others for any mistakes made while doing their job as commissioners but would not forgive them if they failed to perform.
While advising Wasilat, Makinde urged her to always perform her duty as commissioner diligently and not fear making mistakes.
