More Details, Videos Emerge At Downtown, Louisville Shooting

Following the recent shooting at Downtown, Louisville, the Louisville Metro Police said that five people are dead and six are injured.

One of the people injured is an LMPD officer who has been transported to a hospital along with the others injured.

Police reported that the shooter was found dead at the scene. There is no confirmation yet whether or not they were counting the shooter among the five dead or not.

According to the Police, around 9 a.m today, the Louisville Metro Police asked people to stay away from an area of downtown Louisville as they responded to an incident.

Daily News Bullentin obtained that there was “an active aggressor” in the 300 block of East Main.

The shooting happed at the Old National Bank building. That is next to Louisville Slugger Field.

Below is the video where gunshots can be heard and a voice yelling out “active shooter!

Mayor Craig Greenberg also tweeted asking the public to avoid the area as police responded to the situation. 

However, Gov. Andy Beshear is also on his way to Louisville to be present at the scene.
