The Nigeria Police Force has urged anyone with evidence to file a case against Musiliu Akinsaya, the chairman of the Lagos State Parks and Garages Association, also known as Mc Oluomo.

CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the force’s spokesman, announced this in a tweet on Tuesday.

During the 2023 gubernatorial election, a viral video purportedly showed MC Oluomo allegedly intimidating voters who refused to vote for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

“When we finish voting, we’ll be watching because we have begged you and you said you have heard. If you make a mistake, you will understand. Please tell them, we have begged them. If they don’t vote for us, it is not a fight. Tell them that, Chukwudi’s mother, if you don’t for us, sit down at home. Do you understand? In response to criticism, MC Oluomo claimed that he was not speaking to the Igbo in Lagos but rather to a woman named “Iya Chukwudi” and added that he had used a playful tone when he made the statement.

Eleonu Clinton, a Twitter user, claimed that the police’s objectivity on the matter is questionable.

In response, police spokesman Adejobi stated that victims with substantial evidence can file an assault case against Mc Oluomo, noting that he has no immunity.

“You can take the case of attack up with MC if you have a case or evidence of attacks against him,” Adejobi said.

“Many people and lawyers, even the deputy gov of Lagos, have said it severally. He has no immunity, so if you have a case of attack against him, take it up.” He submitted
