A mobile police officer has killed himself after allegedly shooting his mistress to death in Ilorin, Kwara state.
The bizarre incident occurred at the Chapel Redemption, UMCA, Agba Dam area of the Ilorin metropolis, on Thursday, March 2, 2023.
Unconfirmed reports informed that the police officer committed the act over a paternity issue on a child arising from their relationship.
An eyewitness stated that upon arrival at the school with her child, the police officer accosted the murdered woman, and had some discussions with her before shooting her twice.
He added that the police officer immediately shot himself to death also.
