Man allegedly Takes Father’s life for abusing Him in Kwara

Saidi Musa a 23-year-old man has allegedly killed his father, Chief Musa, the Elemosho of Shareland in the Ifelodun Local Government Area of the State for abusing him.

The alleged who was arraigned before a Kwara State Magistrates Court in Ilorin is standing trial for culpable homicide for butchering his father to death.

According to reports, Saidi allegedly attacked his father for raining curses on him.

Meanwhile, police prosecutor, Abdullah Sanni, while speaking in court said the matter is not ordinarily bailable since it is culpable homicide

Also, he urged the court to regard the motion ex-parte attached to the Police First Information Report and order that the defendant should be remanded in the correctional facility.

The presiding Chief Magistrate, Alhaji Mohammed Dasuki, directed that Saidi be remanded and then adjourned the issue to 9th January 2024 for mention.
