The Oyo State governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has ordered the dissolution of the Disciplinary Committee, Park Management System (PMS) headed by Alhaji Mukaila Auxiliary.
The newly appointed Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, who disclosed this in a statement on Monday, May 29, 2023, said the dissolution was with immediate effect.
The terse statement reads, “I have the directive of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde to inform you of the dissolution of the Disciplinary Committee, Park Management System with immediate effect from today, Monday, 29th May, 2023”.
According to source, it was said that before Engr. Seyi Makinde went for his inauguration, he did not have in mind he was going to do away with Auxilliary. Barely had the governor returned to his Ikolaba private residence, trouble started with Auxilliary and his PMS boys allegedly beating members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, who had also followed the governor from the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, venue of the inauguration to his house, a source who is in the known of development hinted OyoInsight.
Daily News Bulletin further gathered that Makinde had been managing his excesses for long.
