March 18 Polls: Gov. Seyi Makinde Re-Elected, INEC Declares
The Independence Electoral Commission, INEC, has declared Seyi Makinde as the Winner of the Oyo Gubernatorial Election.
Report gathered that Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has won in 31 out of the 33 local government areas in the state.
Makinde will be the second governor to serve for two terms in the state.
The first governor to serve for two terms was late Abiola Ajimobi who governed the state between 2011 and 2019.
